Project VilyaX
Have you ever wished you could have an easier experience typing on your smartwatches? This is our solution in partnership with Garmin.
Background: For my class of Wearable Systems, 3 of my friends and I are working with Garmin in an official partnership targeted in creating any innovative feature to their smartwatches. Anything. As a group, we saw a need to improve the user experience involved with typing. We will create a ring that tracks finger movement of a user, and then use neural networks to process the data and output letters on the watch.
We started this project pretty recently, so stay tuned for updates as we make progress with it.
